About Ihlamur Dent

Dr. Volkan Karabey

Volkan Karabey, who was born in Adana in 1986, graduated from Tarsus American High School in 2004. He completed his studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. In the same year, he started his PhD program at the Department of Periodontology in Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2016, he was awarded the title of Periodontology doctor by completing his doctoral dissertation about the effect of periodontal treatment on salivary biomarkers in obese individuals. He participated in numerous national and international scientific congresses in the field of Periodontology and implantology. He is a member of the international associations such as ITI (International Team for Implantology) and EAO (European Association for Osseointegration).
As an amateur, he is interested in photography and music.

Dr. Selin Bulgu

Selin Bulgu was born in İstanbul at 1991. She graduated from Arnavutköy Korkmaz Yigit Anadolu High School at 2009. She completed her studies at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 2014. At 2021, she was awarded the title of Doctor of endodontics at 2021. She is a member of Turkish Dental Association, Turkish Endodontics Association, IADR(International Association for Dental Research), ESE (European Society of Endodontology) and AAE(American Association of Endodontists).

Dr. E. Aslı Aktı

She was born in Istanbul in 1968. She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry in 1991. She completed her PhD study in the Department of Public Health of Istanbul University, Institute of Health Sciences in 2002. During this period she was a research assistant at the Department of Dental Health. Between the years 1997-2001, she took place in the project “Increasing the oral dental health capacity in Turkey”. She volunteered in the school health development programs conducted by the Children’s Health Association and Istanbul Medical Faculty. She is interested in ceramics and painting art as an amateur.

Ihlamur Dent was founded by Dr. Volkan Karabey, who has been working predominantly in the fields of Implantology, Periodontology and esthetic dentistry in Beşiktaş since 2011, and Dr. Aslı Aktı, who has been working in Beşiktaş since 1994. Ihlamur Dent, provides treatment services to its patients in the fields such as Implantology, periodontology (gum disease), aesthetic dentistry and dental prostheses by specialist doctors.

Panoramic dental x-rays are taken in our clinic and all our treatment units are structured in accordance with the access of disabled patients.
